I'm a photography mad mother of two, super keen runner and lover of all things outdoors.
In a past life, (before children!), I was lucky enough to work as an International Marketing Manager organising overseas photoshoots. This client side experience of photography sparked a keen interest in my own photography and creative editing, which in time developed into a love of portrait and wedding photography. Eleven years ago I took the plunge and Kim Blondell Photography was born, I'd established a real passion for family photography and I wanted to provide families with a service really focussed on the whole family feeling as comfortable as possible in front of the camera.
I really love portrait photography, it's such fun meeting lots of lovely families and working together to get relaxed and fun memories to treasure for years to come. I have two young boys myself pride myseld in being able to build a quick rapport with children (and their parents!) and working on the children's level to make the session as fun and relaxed as possible.
Over the years I've expanded my portfolio into wedding photography, nursery & school photography, events photography and also commercial photography. At the heart of everything is my connection with my clients, whether they be a couple planning their wedding or a little two year old at nursery - I always take the time to get to know my subjects and I've made a lot of friends along the way!
Please contact me if you'd like to chat through your photography needs, I'd love to hear from you.
